    SOA Architecture appreciated having Five Oaks Associates as the general contractor and as a true partner on the State of Missouri Governor’s Mansion Elevator Replacement project. The project not only featured challenges of installing a 4-story modern elevator in an existing elevator shaft of a historic structure, but also the challenges of scheduling and work restrictions for a facility that continued to serve the daily activities of the Missouri Governor and the many public events that are hosted at the Governor’s Mansion. The team at Five Oaks Associates always came to the design team with suggested solutions as conditions and unknowns were discovered, allowing the design team to flex the construction details to deliver a beautiful elevator installation that matched seamlessly into the Mansion’s historic material palette. Five Oaks often needed to adapt to material delivery schedule changes by working weekends and overtime to keep the critical events of the project schedule on track – even more challenging when custom elevator equipment is included in the project. I wholeheartedly recommend Five Oaks Associates based on their performance on this complex and demanding project.
